The space that I am proposing to observe and write my essay on is the Eurotazza Coffeehouse on Camp Bowie. I'm choosing this space because it is unique and a stimulating environment.
I plan on observing on Thursday and Friday of this week in the afternoons.
I expect to learn about the people that come there and the different "cultures" represented. I already think that I will probably see representatives from a hippie/new age culture, along with businessmen and women and plenty of college students.
I really like your blog Holly! How did you hear about Eurotazza, I have never heard of it? Is it better than Starbucks because and do they only serve coffee? I ask because I am not really a fan of coffee,
ReplyDeleteHolly, Eurotazza sounds like an especially interesting space to analyze as it nears the 'last call' at 6pm this Friday. You may discover some interesting/different arguments than you would normally find at Eurotazza because of the closure. Your biggest challenge will be the fact that you won't be able to observe after Friday. You might think about taking pictures (if they don't mind) in order to be able to fill in any gaps in your observation notes. Your proposal looks good.
ReplyDeleteholly i think you are right with the hippie culture that assists eurotaazza...i went there once and it was a very hippie environment. Other than that, your blog looks great...congrats! and hope you can get all your notes before it closes.
ReplyDeleteword! This place sounds pretty sick. I have never heard of it either but I'm defenitly going to have to check it out. Same question for me though, is it strictly a coffee place or do they have other things as well?
ReplyDeleteI've been here a couple of times. It's in the same area as this sushi place I frequent. Seems like a pretty interesting place. Hope it goes well for you.
